I was sceptical at first but the quality of education here genuinely surprised me. Professors are internationally trained, campus facilities are excellent, and living costs are a fraction of anything you'd pay in the UK or Canada. EduGeo made the entire relocation feel effortless.

Georgia was never on my radar until a friend recommended EduGeo. The counsellors explained everything about the program, fees, and life in Tbilisi so clearly that my parents were fully on board before I even submitted my application.

Really happy with how the application was handled — fast, transparent, and no hidden surprises. I'd love it if the team also shared more details about student housing options before arrival, but overall it was a great experience and I'm settled in Batumi now.

Frequently Asked Questions
The six questions almost every applicant asks before they start.
How much does it cost to study in Georgia?
For most programs tuition is $3,000–$8,000 per year, and living costs in Tbilisi average $300–$500 per month. A six-year MBBS therefore comes to roughly $40,000–$85,000 in total. Fees vary by university and program, so check the exact yearly fee for the course you want on our Programs page.
Is a Georgian medical degree recognised in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh?
Yes. Georgian medical universities are listed in the WHO World Directory of Medical Schools, which is the baseline requirement for NMC (India), PMDC (Pakistan) and BMDC (Bangladesh) recognition. Indian graduates sit the FMGE / NExT screening exam on return, and Pakistani and Bangladeshi graduates sit their councils' qualifying exams. We only recommend universities with active listings.
Do I need NEET or IELTS?
IELTS is not required for admission — our programs are taught in English and universities accept English-medium schooling or their own interview instead. NEET is not required to be admitted in Georgia, but Indian students do need a valid NEET result to be eligible for the FMGE / NExT licensing exam when they return to India, so sit it before you leave.
How long does the whole process take?
Our pathway has seven steps and runs about 76 days from the first call to arrival: university matching in the first week, application and acceptance by roughly day 40, visa documentation by day 60, and a pre-departure briefing before you fly. The Category D3 student visa itself is normally decided within 30 calendar days.
What does EduGeo charge?
Your first consultation is free — we review your grades, budget and options and tell you honestly what is realistic, at no cost. If you decide to go ahead, our service is paid: you choose one of four support packages, a single fee from $499 to $2,999 depending on how much of the application, visa, residence permit and arrival work you want handled for you. University tuition is separate and always paid directly to the university.
Is Georgia safe, and can I work while studying?
Georgia is one of the safest countries in the region, with low crime and large, settled international student communities in Tbilisi and Batumi. Once you hold a temporary residence permit you may work part-time alongside your studies — treat it as useful experience rather than a way to fund your degree.
